Our 100% natural and USDA Certified Organic Grapeseed Oil is extracted from the seed of organic grapes using a cold processing method. This is high-grade edible oil. It has a beautiful pale yellow or light green appearance. It is refreshing, mild, non-toxic, non-greasy, and absorbed easily by the skin and considered safe for use by children and adults alike. It is excellent for pampering your little one or yourself. It makes an excellent massage oil, and moisturizer. What's more is that it is great for use by adults for its anti-aging benefits. Applying grapeseed oil around the eye area daily is known to reduce wrinkles and swelling. Furthermore, it is preferred in gourmet cooking because of its light taste that has been described as 'nutty'. There are two important elements in grapeseed oil, lineolic acid and the original pigment. Lineolic acid has several benefits for the skin. It can resist radical elements, aids anti-aging, and helps in the absorption of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. We simply added Vitamin E, and let the natural oil do the rest. Our vitamin E is derived from non-genetically modified soybeans. Grapeseed oil is rich in antioxidants; in addition, grapeseeds are plentiful, being a by-product of the wine making process. However organic grapes, and therefore organic grapeseeds, are a scare commodity around the world. As a result, organic grapeseed oil generally demands a significant price over the non-organic variety. *****UPDATE 04/23/2015 Due to the overwhelmed response from our loyal customers asking not to deodorizing the oil, we have stopped deodorizing the oil(even our deodorizing process was mechanical as opposed to chemical). The smell will be vary batch-by-batch and again it's not rancid, it just has very strong wine-like smell.
