QUALITY - This cord is braided from 100% Kevlar fiber made in the USA by Dupont and then is assembled and tested by a US defense contractor. Unlike some of our competitors, there is no fine print about fiber blending, braid components that are not Kevlar or generic substitution. Before using this cord please consider what tensile test strength means. Tensile testing is done on each batch of this cord by the manufacturer. Our stated 900lb nominal strength is the minimum acceptable standard. Most batches test significantly above this standard. It is important to note that testing is done with specialized machinery and can't be replicated under normal use.
