The QD mount tension is adjustable. Flip it open and rotate it clockwise or counter clockwise. Rail mount sticks the may have it too tight. Or use gun oil and apply it to the moving parts of the QD mount. The tension on the slide to side is also adjustable by loosening or tightening the set screws on the front and back of the mount. May have been set too tight at the factory
