Set in rural England during the Second World War, this highly popular and award-winning drama returns for a second 5-part series and continues to follow the lives and loves of the Land Girls who are working the fields for their country in the Women's Land Army. Bea (Jo Woodcock) and Joyce (Becci Gemmell) are now joined by feisty, opinionated new Land Girl, Connie (Seline Hizli).

Commissioned by the BBC to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the start of World War II, Land Girls is a tribute to all the women who answered their country's call for service to do their bit on the home front, while their men were overseas, fighting the enemy.
