This Kimble-Chase micro-hematocrit tube is manufactured from soda lime glass and packed in a plastic vial with re-sealable snap-lock cap to maintain cleanliness. The inside of this red coded tube has been treated to prevent blood clotting with ammonium heparin which does not interfere with sodium identification processes.
