The Polaroid camera lens revering ring is installed between a Nikon camera body and a lens equipped with a filter thread diameter of 58mm. The lens does not have to be a Canon lens. Once attached to the camera the adapter ring provides 58mm male threads onto which you can attach any lens with 58mm female threads. Reversing a lens on a camera gives it macro capability-close up images without the expense of a new lens
