This ravishing, mysterious rumination on identity, love, and human intuition remains one of the most beloved films of Krzysztof Kieslowski (Decalogue, the Three Colors trilogy). Irène Jacob (Red, Othello) is incandescent as both Weronika, a Polish choral soprano, and her double, Véronique, a French music teacher.
