This is a quick guide to understanding the basics of Medical Terminology without having to take an 8 week or 16 week college course.
You will learn how medical terms are created and how to decipher their meaning. In addition, you are given a list of the most common medical suffixes, prefixes, and word roots, which you can either memorize, or use as a quick reference guide. Also included is a guide to the singular and pleural forms of medical words, and a basic medical terminology pronunciation guide.
The author has been teaching Beginning and Advanced Medical Terminology at the college level for over ten years.
