PristineCheck® is a water prep that gets your pool water ready for the introduction of PristineBlue®. •It takes excess calcium from the water and deposits it into the filter. It's essential to backwash or clean the cartridge filter after the use of PristineCheck®. PristineCheck® is applied in pools when starting PristineBlue® for the first time and every year at spring opening. If your source water is high in calcium, we recommend an application of PristineCheck® whenever you add makeup water to the pool. •Initial dose: 2 ounces per 1,000 gallons. Maintenance dose if source water is high in calcium: 1 ounce per 1,000 gallons of makeup water added. Backwash/clean filter within 24 hours. Available from your PristineBlue® retailer in 8 ounce, 32 ounce and 64 ounce containers.
