To date there are no true blue daylilies - but with hybridizers working hard, that won't be the case forever. Until that day, Prairie Blue Eyes, a heavy blooming lavendar daylily with a bluish halo, is our top choice. This award winner was created by one of the great masters, James Marsh, and competes with the best of them, producing up to an amazing 25 buds per stem and flowers that are 5 1/2" across. The blossoms are ruffled and sport a light seersuckered texture. This semi evergreen, midseason bloomer performs best in moderate to warm climates.
