A Cubitron abrasive grain cloth belt constructed on a Y weight, strong, durable cloth backing. Resin bonded for heat resistance. Grade: 50. Primary markets: metalworking, woodworking. For tough portable belt sanding jobs; features long-lasting, durable 3M Cubitron abrasive grain on a strong Y-weight backing. The closed coat feature provides a better finish and less aggressive cut than a comparable open coat abrasives of the same grade. Provides increased cut rate, more uniform finish, higher stock removal with less heat and loading, and long life for wood sanding. Features a butt splice which allows for unidirectional sanding for extended life and reduced abrasive cost.
