Origin: Egypt Extraction Method: Steam Distilled Plant Part: Leaves Strength of Aroma: Strong Aromatic Scent: This variety has a sweet vaguely anise-like, mint, smoky odor. Blends well with: Aniseed, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Lime, Eucalyptus, Juniper Berry, Lemon, Neroli, Peppermint and Rosemary. Suggested Uses: Basil essential oil is commonly used for soothing sore muscles, relieving respiratory congestion and elevating your mood. Its antibacterial action is especially appropriate for skin hygiene and respiratory health. Combine 2 drops Basil, 1 drop Aniseed and 1 drop Peppermint to 2 tablespoons of Almond oil and gently massage over sore muscles. Diffuse Basil during sickness to clear your sinuses and uplift your spirits. Cautions: Use topically at a maximum of 0.1%.
