Product Review
~ ~ ~ WE OFFER BOTH PKT. & BULK SIZES ~ ~ ~ These seeds are VERY small, each pack of seed will contain more than advertised. But if you are uncomfortable working with VERY small seeds please do NOT purchase this product.
Sempervivum forms a neat bright rosette of foliage that often produces offsets that cluster around it. Hence the name Hen and Chicks. This mix contains several species ranging in color from grey-green, to light green to deep maroon. The blooms also vary in colors of yellow and pink shades. Very easy to grow from seed. Hardy in zones 5-10. Full sun. Planting Instruction: Sow in trays, pots, or jiffy mix in a warm location to maintain an optimum temperature of 65-70F (Top of Refrigerator works fine for us during the winter). Sow in well drained compost, just covering the seeds with compost. Sometimes slow to germinate; takes anywhere from 2-8 weeks. Keep in mind this is a mix variety and some varieties take longer than other to germinate. Winter hardy at zone 5-9 and once established they require very little if any care at all.
