One of Alice’s former ANGELs asks her to become involved with a group of at-risk teens and what begins as a summer challenge ends up as a life-and-death test of courage. Meanwhile, Louise gets pulled into a friendly dance competition with a handsome partner. As she and her new flame spend more time practicing together, she starts to wonder if this competition will end up becoming more than just summer recreation.
