Wear this White Renaissance Chemise under your costume for a complete look! So, how do you wear it? In medieval and Renaissance days, this was a woman's undergarment, worn as the innermost layer with an overdress that may or may not have had sleeves. Also, respectable women never wore it off-the-shoulder--the only ones who did that were women of questionable morals. And even they would never go out in public in ONLY a chemise--it would have been like going shopping in only your underwear.
