A shorter version of this piece was originally supposed to appear in the News of the world as a photo led travel feature, under the banner "Red hot Iceland". It doesn't look like they'll be needing it anymore, so I thought I'd flesh out the original travel log, double the number of images included and release it as an e-book. Don't expect an encyclopaedia, it's just a short, image led introduction to some of what Iceland has to offer visitors and an idea as to what's possible during a short stay in the country.
