Deep Pockets (over 4 mm) - Low Pressure Regular brushing and standard tips on irrigators only reach a few millimeters below the gums. If you have deep pockets greater than 4 mm, special, irrigating attachments with long, thin metal tips called cannula can be used with your Viajet irrigator. These tips can flush solutions such as TheraSol down to the base of even the deepest pockets with a ViaJet cannula adapter.
