I call these Jack in the Beanstalk Magic Beans because on a trip to Florida my daughter found a seed and brought it back for me to plant. It didn't take long, about a week for it, to pop up out of the ground and start growing up a 20 foot pole that I have my weather station attached to It overtook the pole in about 3 weeks and I cut it back. It then started going again and ran out of growing room at the top and then started to grow in all directions. Under the large shinny green leaves it had some purple flowers where the large 15 inch long bean pods started to grow. Anyway, If you like unusual and fast growing plants that will cover a trellis, fence, balcony rails, porch rails, and produce GIANT bean pods, this plant is the plant for you.
