Please note that the label for this product has recently changed. Although our manufacturer has removed "organic" from the label of this product, the product has not changed and we can certify that the flax within this product is 100% organic in compliance with the USDA National Organic Program, the US-EU Organic Equivalency Arrangement and the US-Canada Organic Equivalency Arrangement. Our application to have the language added back to the label is pending with the manufacturer, and we will add "organic" back to the label once it is approved. Lignans For Life offers 7.6 oz bottle of pure flaxseed hulls (lignans) in a bulk powder form with a small 6 mg SDG Lignan scoop and a large 80mg SDG Lignan scoop. 60 servings per container. Bulk Flax Powder dosage suggestions: Lignans have both soluble and insoluble fiber. Do not pour powder into water; the powder will not dissolve. Do not take spoonfuls of powder by itself; always mix powder with a food. Choking Hazard: Taking too much at once could cause powder to get stuck in the throat. Note: There are two scoops in each jar: one large and one small. For people: take 1-2 large scoops per day. For dogs: give 1-2 mg per pound of body weight once a day (1-2 small scoops for each 10 lbs of body weight). For a small dog (about 10 pounds), give 1-2 small scoops per day. For a 20 pound dog, give 2-4 small scoops per day, etc. For large dogs (50 lbs), give between ½ large scoop to 1 whole large scoop. Sprinkle it on dog's food or mix it into a probiotic like yogurt with active cultures. This can help improve the absorption rate of the lignans.
