These are WHOLE organic Lotus flower stamens. It takes a large amount of flowers to produce just a handful of stamens, so these are offered seasonally, and often disappear quickly. Lotus stamens are the most potent part of the Lily plant, and are often referred to as the "poor man's" saffron. Only 1 teaspoon per cup of tea or 2 tablespoons per bottle of wine.
