New formed rear bumper for the TJ and YJ Jeep Wrangler's. This new design is strong and stylish, notched for the OEM hitch so that the owner can safely tow. Large step area for improved access to the back of the vehicle. Formed 3/16 inch steel plate construction with significant reinforcement for the trail. Bolt-on installation (YJ requires drilling of 2 holes in the vehicle cross member) This new bumper mates up to the 5294 swing arm by using the state of the art dual wheel bearing pivot design. Body Armor introduced this new pivot design last year in the JK-2394 and has proven to be very reliable, dependable and easy to operate, plus it has the capability to carry up to a 37 inch tall tire with virtually no vibration.
