Andrew Jukes (1815-1901) traces the typical significance of the offerings described in the opening chapters of the book of Leviticus, relating them to Christ’s sacrificial offering of Himself on Calvary. Reading this book will deepen your appreciation of all that Christ did on behalf of His people as the application of all the details is carefully explored. Some may find the style a little stilted, but perseverance will be amply rewarded. Perhaps no other portion of Scripture illustrates as many facets of Calvary as this.

First published in 1848, this edition has been completely re-typeset for issue as an eBook. Hebrew words in the text have been transliterated and the number corresponding to their entry in Strong’s Concordance given alongside, since at present they cannot be rendered on a Kindle.
