WARN Aluminum Hawse Fairlead is designed to be used with synthetic rope only, and decrease the possibility of fraying. When switching to synthetic rope from cable, it is necessary to replace the roller fairlead or hawse fairlead with a solid aluminum fairlead to avoid pinching the cable and damaging the new synthetic rope from rough surfaces of the old fairlead that was used with cable.
