The Specialty Concepts ASC (Automatic Sequencing Charger) 12/8 is a series type regulator for solar battery charging. The ASC is a negative ground switching shunt regulator, housed in an anodized aluminum chassis and encapsulated in a hard epoxy resin. It is solid state and completely sealed against harsh environments.
