Especially made for mounting botanical and zoological specimens. The bottom is a cardboard box filled with absorbent cotton. The top is glass neatly glued to both sides of lid. Note:Dimensions given are for the mount bottom only. Placing the top on the mount adds 1/4' to width and length and 1/8' to height. So this mount measures 8-1/4 x 12-1/4 x 1' with its top in place.
