On Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 4:07pm at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Detroit Tiger pitching ace, Justin Verlander (35), threw his second career no-hitter. He became only the 27th pitcher in the history of Major League Baseball to throw multiple no-hitters. He also joined Virgil Trucks as the only two Detroit Tigers to ever throw two no-hitters.
In addition to the no-hitter, Verlander led the American League in wins, ERA and strikeouts in 2011 and became only the 10th pitcher in Major League history to be awarded both the Cy Young Award and the Most Valuable Player Award in the same season.
Now you can relive this historic game at your leisure - but be prepared to be on your feet cheering!
