Following the successful 2011 holiday release Under The Influence Of Christmas and 2010's double disc juggernaut Strange Change Machine, Speed Of Live is more powerful than a locomotive - a sweat-soaked high-octane burst of Psychedelic Power Pop! The Grip Weeds are a band for which a live album is a true ''by-popular-demand'' necessity. If you haven't seen them, it should be equally welcome - and something of a revelation, bursting with all of the passion and power they put into every live performance. Included here are many Grip Weeds perennials bestowed ''Coolest Song in the World'' on the immensely popular satellite and nationally syndicated radio show Little Steven's Underground Garage. And fittingly, all performances were taken from shows around The Grip Weeds' (and Steven's) home state of NJ.
