CA glue has been used as a finish for years, especially in small turnings and pen making because it's ability to achieve a high gloss and toughness but it does have some drawbacks. It's brittle and has a really short application-cure time. The folks at Stick Fast fixed these shortcomings. First, they extended the application-cure time out to 50-60 seconds; increased flexibility for durability and shock resistance; then finally increased the coat buildup capability. Stick Fast CA Finish comes in Medium and Thin. The Medium builds up the finish coat faster with fewer coats required. The Thin has superior penetration into open grain which is ideal for creating the base for additional coats of either more Thin or the faster building Medium.
