Cernunnos, known to the Celts as `The Horned One,` is the stag antlered God of the Forest, God of Prosperity and God of the Underworld. He often carried a bag filled with coins, and was purported to be a shape-shifter with the ability to turn himself into any animal. His antlers are regarded as symbols of virility and fertility. The Horned God is born at the winter solstice, marries the goddess at Beltane, and dies at the summer solstice, representing the growing season and bountiful harvests. This cold cast resin bust stands 12 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches at its widest, and has a 3 1/2 inch diameter base. The beautiful bronze finish and hand-painted accents highlight the incredible detail in this piece, from the antlers and the tree bark to the textured fur. It looks great on mantels, bookshelves, desks, or anywhere in your home or office.
