Made of Type 316L Stainless Steel, this specially tempered wire has a different "feel" than other half-hard materials such as Gold-filled or Sterling Silver, however it is a great alternative and is stronger. It's now available in 1/2 Round, necessary for wire-wrapping. This material is perfect for teaching classes and practice. Ideal for all types of wire-wrapping, weight-bearing designs and holding designs together. Stainless Steel is harder and will work harden faster than other wires and resembles the finish of vintage platinum.
