The purpose of the Telemann Festival Days of Magdeburg is for international artists to perform works by Telemann including full-length, magnificent compositions such as operas, oratorios, passions, and cantatas.-Â The cantatas heard on this new CD were recorded during a concert held at the next-to-last festival days. This is highly gripping and brilliant music!
