This Detex eax-300 is a door propped alarm that is used in applications where the Doors may be used for exit or entry, but are not supposed be held or propped open. The alarm will stop ringing as soon as the door closes. Because it requires no electrical connection, is powered by a standard 9 Volt battery with low battery/LED alert, and is quick and easy to install, the Detex eax-300 provides a great low-cost security solution. The eax-300 can be field-set for door-open times ranging from one second to two minutes, with a 15-second default. A 100-decibel alarm alerts employees, then silences when the door is closed so there is no waiting for a key-holder to arrive.
