In "Pick of the Litter," we meet Alice Moore, a spoiled daughter of privilege who, feeling overworked and underappreciated, takes advantage of a coworker's mistake to earn herself a nice little paid vacation on her Daddy's dime. She and her best friend, Jessica, jet off to paradise, even as Jeremy Murdock, Alice's would-be paramour, is banished to a netherworld of unemployment and pariahdom. But when Jeremy comes to their hideaway seeking vengeance, Alice and Jessica find that the cost of their "free" vacation is very high indeed...
