Graviola (Annona muricata), also known as guanabana or soursop, is a small tree indigenous to most of the warmest tropical areas in South America, including the Amazon Basin. Graviola has a long history of use by indigenous people of the Amazon Basin who use all parts of the Graviola tree, the bark, leaves, root, fruit and seeds, to treat various ailments. Graviola tree leaves have been used traditionally for their various therapeutic properties.
