Throughout this flowering period, intense beehive activity begins before sunrise and ends after sunset, with hundreds of bees working simultaneously on each lavender plant. Propolis: the beeswax collected from the tree buds, sap flows and other botanical places help to seal in moisture. Royal jelly: nectar of the queen. The only nutrient fed to grow queens is vitamin B rich and known for its moisturizing, soothing and healing properties on skin. Honey: the sweet food made by bees using nectar from flowers.
