48" x 60" Masterpiece Elite Canvas 15-ounce. Shasta cotton is one of the strongest, highest quality, professional grade pre-stretched canvases available. When stretched, the elite stretcher bar measures 1.5-inch deep and is a full 2.25-inch wide for maximum strength. It is equipped with a unique patented groove on the inner perimeter which makes the corners and braces all keyable. Stretched with 100-percent Shasta cotton and works for all applications. Heavy weight 15-ounce. Cotton that is primed 4 times with 3 coats of high-grade acrylic gesso and one sizing coat. Durable and perfect for heavy paint applications and impasto. Museum quality. It is back-stapled with enough selvage to facilitate restretching on the same size frame. Elite offers security as well, with a unique code on the canvas that can be entered at the fine art registry. Registration allows the artist to prove provenance of the artwork, no matter where it goes.
