Missfits Fastpitch is part of the Softball Star series, inspiring sports books for preteens about girls who love playing softball and baseball.

Things looked bleak for fifteen-year-old Paige Parker and her friends. They got arrested for drinking alcohol and the judge threatened to throw them in the county's juvenile detention center for thirty days. At the last minute, however, he decided to take a different approach and he ordered them to join a softball team.  He hoped they would be so busy playing softball they would stay out of any additional trouble. At first, Paige and the other girls hated it, but when their team, the Missfits, started to get good, the fun officially began.


All of the books in the Softball Star series are standalone stories that may be read in any order, suitable for ages 12 and up.
