From the Manufacturer Kotap poly tarps have been sold for more than 30 years. Kotap tarps are made of woven and coated polyethylene that is tear and UV resistant. They are also mold and mildew resistant and will not rot nor shrink. Product Description Kotap Mesh Tarps are made from heavy-duty open mesh weave fabric (6.5-Ounceper square yard). This is breathable mesh material, however will cut down on sun and wind. Woven plastic reinforcement is double sewn into the hem and corners to prevent the solid-brass grommets from ripping out. Kotap mesh tarps are appropriate for patio/garden/landscape applications to cut down on sun. They also are used to secure and cover pickup beds, dump trucks, and dumpster roll-off containers.
