BumpTek corner guards are thicker (.46") than other bumper guards and sticks out further for better protection. The matte black finish was selected to compliment or blend with any existing car trim or finish, providing an OEM appearance and enhancing the look of any vehicle.
*** IMPORTANT - COLD WEATHER INSTALLATION ***
WHEN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 72 DEGREES, IT IS BEST TO INSTALL BUMPTEK PRODUCTS INDOORS (PREFERABLY IN A HEATED INDOOR SPACE).
WHY? Adhesives are less sticky when cold or when attaching to cold surfaces. Please read installation instructions prior to use.
Please Note:
(1) Make sure you review the product dimensions (below) carefully before ordering.
(2) The ideal installation temperature is 72°F or higher. If surface is cold, use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm before installation.
(3) BumpTek is designed to stick on painted bumper surfaces and may not stick to unpainted rubber bumpers, such as those found on the 2013 Honda CRV, 2013 Rav4 etc.
