This book presents powerful archaeological and documentary evidence for the historicity and authenticity of the Book of Jonah, one of the most derided Books of the Bible. The historical background which the Book of Jonah presents is seen to be utterly authentic, and even the creature (not a whale) that swallowed Jonah is known from the archaeological record. Anyone studying Jonah should read this book first, for all other treatments of Jonah will come to be judged by it.
