'Edelweiss' are perennial found in Alps, that are favorite for rock garden, because they are so easy to grow. They are one of the hardiest of plants, and withstand severe winters. Plant is low-growing from 4--12" tall and is densly covered with whitetish wool, with 3-4 star-like flowers. Seeds can be started outdoors anytime after last frost, through fall, for next year bloom.
