Julius Caesar (100BC - 44BC) is considered by many as one of the most powerful and brilliant military and political leaders in history, extending the Roman Empire all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. He was assassinated on March 15, 44BC (the Ides of March) by a small group of conspiring Senators fearful of his rising power and potential autocracy. This is a Deluxe Replica of Julius Caesar's sword. The handle and scabbard are engraved and embossed in simulated gold finish with classic Roman designs. The 20" cast metal blade of this replica sword is 2.5" wide with a distinctive blood groove.
