Most of us have at least a few insecurities hidden inside about whether or not we can actually do this homeschooling thing. Often we are our own biggest obstacle. It makes sense that we would feel this way--after all, we’ve been taught that education is complicated. Taught that even when governments throw billions of dollars at it, the problem can’t be solved. And we don’t have billions of dollars, so what hope do we have? We’ve been told that education requires experts, and we don’t always feel like one.
But what if some of what we’ve been taught is not true? What if there is another way—a simpler, more natural way to learn? What if there are secrets of a successful homeschool mom—secrets we can tap into and use to order our days and our lives? I believe there are, and I wrote this book in the hope that they’ll inspire you the way they’ve inspired me.
