CAPUT MUNDI VENICE is my follow-up to ROME CAPUT MUNDI. At 85 minutes, it is a unique exploration of the legendary City on the Lagoon; part HISTORY, part walking TOUR and part TRAVEL ESSAY, the totality of which - seamlessly edited - will please both those completely unfamiliar with Venice, and visitors who have been many times before.

This VENICE DVD differs from my earlier ROME DVD in that it does not include detailed food & lodging information. It does, however, have same high level of historical/cultural information that has earned my ROME VIDEO its five-star Amazon rating. Differing from other DVDs about Venice, this one does not waste time with odd anecdotes or with visiting hotel rooms. This DVD is ALL about WHY you should visit Venice. It is about what you should see if you go AND the historical background of what you see.

Package includes an eight-page BOOKLET with specific directions to places visited in the video. After viewing the video, take the BOOKLET on your own tour of Venice. There is a MAP at the centerfold.

My goal with the VIDEO is to inspire and prompt the viewer/traveler to research the various points of interest before leaving for Venice.

At 85 minutes, the VIDEO is intended to be viewed as a complete feature-length experience. But it can also be viewed in TWO PARTS.

At the MENU, click PLAY ENTIRE VIDEO. At minute 48 in the video, you will be invited to either continue uninterrupted into PART TWO or to turn the DVD off. On another day, clicking PLAY PART TWO on the opening MENU will bring you precisely back to where you left off.

As PART TWO is only 37 minutes, I strongly suggest you view the video all at once as a complete feature-length experience.
