Kang In-gu (played by acting chameleon Song Kang-ho) just wants what's best for his family, working hard to support the household and save money for a house in the countryside. Slightly decrepid in a dark business suit, he looks like yet another anonymous middle-aged salaryman as he sets out for work every morning. But In-gu's line of work is of bloody and messy kind. Acting as a mid-ranking officer in a crime syndicate, it is difficult to balance work and family, and things aren't going too well. His wife and rebellious teenage daughter are not happy about his line of work and the embarrassingly rough public behavior. Making his life worse is his boss's jealous little brother, who is plotting against In-gu due the favoritism he receives in the syndicate.
