For centuries, Bohemia, a part of the Czech Republic, has been known for its high quality glass and crystal. Glass imitation pearls are a perfect complement of both Machine Cut and Fire Polished beads. The base of these nacre pearls is a round Czech White Alabaster glass core which is pearlized (dipped in pearl essences) 6 times and coated with a clear protective layer. Both glass core and pearl coatings are completely lead free. The whole production process utilizes ecologically responsible technologies and is under a close supervision of EU environmental authorities.
