Product Review
L-Glutamine is one of the 20 amino acids formed by the body. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Amino acids are classified into two groups: essential and non-essential. Essential amino acids must be derived from food as the body does not manufacture them. Non-essential amino acids can be synthesized or produced by the body. Both types of amino acids are imperative to good health and are used by the body on a daily basis.
L-Glutamine is the most important naturally-occurring, non-essential amino acid in the body and even though the body produces it, blood glutamine levels can be depleted, especially during times of injury, illness or high-intensity exercise. Supplementation assures that your body has the glutamine it needs to support brain, immune, muscle and digestive functions.
