The starting point and the destination of Heinz Spoerli's new ballet is the Magnificat by J.S. Bach. Dancers spin through Bach's works, both sacred and secular, evoking and confronting the emotions surrounding ideas of faith. Marc Minkoswki and the Orchestra La Scintilla make the music more than just a backdrop for this visual feast.
