This DVD will take the viewer on a 31 minute Virtual Walk in the Italian town of Amalfi. Filmed in High Definition and widescreen using camera stabilization equipment, the camera seems to float as it transports the viewer along the famous Amalfi Coast. This Virtual Walk begins high in the Valle dei Mulini, the famous "Valley of the Paper Mills," overlooking the town of Amalfi and the Mediterranean. As the old stone walkway curves gently and sweeps downhill, the camera passes lemon groves whose trees are heavy with their large ripe lemons destined to end up as Lemoncello, the famous Italian liqueur. Soon the viewer enters the town of Amalfi itself, following the Via Capuano, and past the many shops filed with day tourists. The street changes names to become the Via Lorenzo & Amalfi and the viewer enters the Piazza Duomo and passes outdoor cafes with their typical umbrella-covered tables. Passing through the Porta della Marina, the camera crosses the Piazza Flavio Gionia and dodges the busy Italian traffic. Passing more outdoor restaurants and gelato shops, the camera follows the Via Lungomare dei Cavalleri as it parallels the coast. This 31 minute Amalfi Virtual Walk ends as the camera reaches a small isolated beach. This Amalfi Virtual Walk DVD includes two different Dolby Stereo soundtracks: One with music suitable for walking, another with just the Natural Sounds as they were recorded in Dolby Stereo in Amalfi. This DVD also includes a Bonus Chapter which focuses on the Amalfi Coast.
