Although this book is primarily designed to help someone with little or no
experience purchase vehicles at auctions, the principles of buying at an auction
are the same no matter what kind of auction you go to. Whether they are
auctioning livestock, antiques, household goods, real estate, heavy equipment or cars, it doesn’t really matter.

I have bought and sold cars and trucks at auctions for many years. Over those
years I have had many successes and failures. I have also learned from other
people’s successes and failures. I have found that it is easier to learn from
someone who has gone down the same road as I am approaching then to
stumble down it blindly. If you take the lessons I have learned and printed in this book and apply them to yourself, you will not only save yourself much grief, you will have found one more area in your life where you can thrive.
